Our opening DJ sets the tone as the tango community comes together for the first time, familiar faces, new connections, and that unmistakable energy that only the first night of a marathon can bring.

The afternoon unfolds in two acts.

DJ Michael Plaks opens with an Alternative Milonga from 2 to 4pm, a creative, unexpected journey through music that moves beyond tradition. Then, from 4 to 6pm, he brings you back to the roots with a Traditional Milonga that speaks straight to the soul.

DJ Fil Cruz takes the floor for six hours of pure connection, tandas that build, breathe, and carry you somewhere words can’t reach. Tea, coffee, and water available throughout the night to keep you on the floor where you belong.
